Salts & Scrubs

​Our Bath Salts & Sugar Scrubs are made with the most basic combination of ingredients possible, in order to ensure healthy exposure to your skin. The salts will assist in the release of muscle tension and are generally used in baths. Our sugar scrubs can be used in showers and will exfoliate the skin & leave your skin moisturized by the oil that is incorporated in our mixture.

Sugar Scrubs Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Brown Sugar, 100% pure essential oils.

Our Scalp Scrubs, the latest addition to our selection added to our menu. They are recipes made following research on items that are best suited to help boost the scalp's natural abilities to fight bacteria and fungi, and also to help soothe and heal any kind of scalp, no matter the hair type.

​

Sea Salt & Brown Sugar are used as exfoliates. The sea salt will also help increase the pH level in the scalp, which will help increase the body's natural ability to fight infections. Sea salt is commonly used for people with piercings, for that reason. It is the most natural way to clean an area and provide a healthy surface, free of dead skin and irritants.

Brown sugar is a must softer exfoliate, but will serve the same purpose. Rid the area of dead skin and create a healthy platform for the skin underneath.

The second component, an acidic ingredient, will assist the scalp is fighting infections.Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar are the two acidic ingredients used by South of Valhalla Crafts. The acidic ingredient will rid the scalp of oil residues that have been clogging hair follicles and it will combat any fungi or bacteria that may be present as a result of using hairspray, dry shampoo, or another hair styling product. While these products are useful for cosmetic purposes, and busy days, they are not always the best for the scalp and maintaining a healthy head.

The final ingredient in our Scalp Scrubs is a natural oil that will assist in moisturizing and soothing your scalp. Coconut Oil & Olive Oil are two such oils that we use because they will not clog your hair follicles. Instead, you will gain useful nutrients that are absorbed directly into your head, and simultaneously your skin will be soothed following the exfoliation that has taken place. Following the 5-10 minutes that the hair scrub should be allowed to permeate on your scalp, your hair will be infused with nutrients from the root outward.
